I can relate to it on so ma...Hal, I love this post. I can relate to it on so many levels. I worked for 9 years at a school who promoted "academics, arts, and athletics." I also believe that students need to be connected to the school for many reasons, including learning leadership skills, collaboration skills, empathy, teamwork and/or persistence.
